Jarrolds Glazing are delighted with the recent contract award for the window and door package on a 30-unit apartments development being constructed by DCH Construction on behalf of Sanctuary Housing Association in Lowestoft.

On the site of the former, now demolished, Shaftesbury Court Care Home, the new apartments will create high specification age specific accommodation for local residents, with the added bonus of being right on the seafront!

With the scheme designed by Barefoot & Gilles Architects our team assisted significantly in the optimisation and value engineering of the glazing product selections with our client to meet the end client’s stringent requirements, provide long lasting products and within the budget for the project.

Construction is well underway now after extensive remediation work has been carried out, and we aim to be on site for what will be a rapid fitting phase in the Spring of 2026.

Thank you once again to DCH for choosing Jarrolds Glazing.
